A visual guide to putting together a tasty punch for your party
If you need something unique to serve a group, consider this recipe, inspired by the Bourbon Ginger Snap from Real Simple, with a few Ohio ingredients to localize it.
Ingredients
PLUS:
2 quarts water
crushed ice
Instructions
Combine water, lemon juice, honey and ginger in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for five minutes. Strain into a large container and allow to cool.
Once cool, add orange and pear juices, whiskey and lemons. Transfer to punch bowl. Serve individual glasses over ice.
Serves approximately 20.
