LEGO brand toys have brought joy to children and other people of all ages throughout the
world, allowing them to express their imagination through their creations.
This joy will be brought to downtown Columbus this weekend, as the LEGO Creativity Tour brings eight scheduled play sessions to the SMG-managed Greater Columbus Convention Center from Nov. 20-22.
“This show is centered on kids being creative and building what they like,” says Amber Reyes, the media and marketing manager for Buzz Engine, the LEGO Creativity Tour production company, in a written statement.
The eight identical play sessions at this family-friendly event offer family activities, construction zones and building and creative play areas for a variety of ages and skill levels.
There will be many attractions that participants can take part in at this event, such as visiting the LEGO Model Museum, buying products at LEGO Retail and having fun in a large pile of LEGO bricks.
At this tour, guests can engage in several activities, including building a custom car and
racing it down a ramp; building in the challenge zone or in the LEGO art gallery; and participating in other activities like relay races, bridge-building contests and tower speed-builds at the brick battle zone, among many other activities.
The eight sessions of the LEGO Creativity Tour will occur at different times throughout the three days. There will be two sessions on Friday beginning at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and three sessions on both Saturday and Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Tickets are $19 for participants ages 3 and older, and children 2 and under are free. Strollers are permitted at the event. Tickets can be bought online or at the event if tickets are still available.
