Lazy Daze Festival 2014
If you venture near the Grandview Heights Public Library on Saturday, you’ll be greeted by more than books.
Featuring artwork, food and entertainment, the Lazy Daze of Summer Festival will be held 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on the library lawn and the surrounding streets.
Now in its 22nd year, the festival gives local artists an opportunity to showcase their work. Over 50 artists will sell handmade products.
There will be crafts for kids, stage entertainment and several food vendors. Sponsors have a chance to gain exposure through a business showcase, and local nonprofit organizations will be featured in a community showcase.
There will also be a silent auction to benefit the Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Arts Council scholarship fund, which has awarded $4,500 to students in the past five years.
