Take to the streets of Grandview for a preview of all that the city has to offer. Grandview Hop is a free event showcasing a variety of local shops and vendors. The event takes place over three weekends in the summer and continues July 30.
Grandview Hop is a distinct annual event that has become a tradition for Grandview citizens and their guests during the summer. The event covers a half-mile stretch of Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th avenues. Shops along the street stay open late alongside a variety of sidewalk merchants. These local Grandview vendors and artists offer guests unique local items.
In addition to a street market and local shopping, the event also includes live music, homemade gifts, creative art, food and fun activities. This summer the Hop will also feature a new activity for guests to enjoy. Guests can now hang out outside and enjoy craft beers in the sun with the Hop’s Pop-up Beer Garden.
Grandview Hop is hosted as a joint effort between Destination Grandview and the Columbus Young Professional club. The 2016 Hop Series sponsors include Arlington Bank, Columbus Young Professionals Club, Destination Grandview, Giant Eagle Market District and Thomas-Fenner-Wood Agency.
