Digfest is back for the sixth year, and this year it’s better than ever. Thousands of Ohioans from Grandview and beyond will gather at the Grandview Yard on June 11 to celebrate local businesses.
At its inception, Digfest, presented by the Tri-Village Chamber Partnership, was a celebration of local craft brewers, craft distilleries, Ohio wines and liqueurs. This year’s festival will stay true to that original character, while also exploring new territory.
Festivalgoers can now look forward to a delightful brew of local food vendors, drinks and live entertainment.
The colorful collection of food vendors includes local favorites, such as Matt the Miller’s Tavern, Hofbräuhaus Columbus, Yats Cajun Creole, Dewey’s Pizza and many more.
Headlining this year’s fest will be Angela Perley & the Howlin’ Moons, a band raised on Columbus soil.
But the biggest draw to the festival is, of course, the local booze. After all, the “Dig” in the title does stand for “Drinks in Grandview.” More than 35 central Ohio breweries will set up shop at Digfest to showcase their craft. There’s also a collection of urban wineries, cideries and liqueur vendors that represent the very best that central Ohio has to offer.
Admission to Digfest is free, but you can purchase drink tickets for $3 each. One drink ticket will buy a sample, while two will buy a full pour. The festivities launch at 4 p.m. and continue until 10:30 at night. However, festivalgoers are welcome to arrive early to peruse the local boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants that Grandview has to offer. Cheers!
