For its newest section, Rooms to Love, Luxury Living is taking a look at rooms in the house and highlighting some of the more interesting options homeowners can exercise there.

Webb

This kitchen is from a Bob Webb Group home in Stonebridge Crossing. It was designed to accommodate a sizable number of modern features.

Highlights

  1. The five-burner gas cook top comes equipped with an oven as well. Above it is a custom range hood, with meticulous backsplash detail on the wall behind.
  2. Two full-size ovens are built right into the cabinetry. The light outer cabinetry, it has to be noted, contrasts with the dark cabinetry on the island.
  3. Dramatic pendant lighting hangs over the island, illuminating the space and catching the eye in its own right.
  4. The larger kitchen island anchors the room, which is connected to the living room. One of several decorative glass display cabinets is visible on the island.

Truberry

The kitchen seen here is in one of Truberry Custom Homes’ villas in Cortona at Tartan West. The home is a customized version of Truberry’s Essex model.

Highlights

  1. Custom under-cabinet lighting illuminates the countertops. The room is also well lit by the windows in the great room and dining area, both of which are connected to the kitchen.
  2. Decorative glass inserts front several of the cabinets. The opaque glass doors contrast with the deep walnut-stained kitchen cabinetry.
  3. All of the stainless appliances are built-in. Among them are a combined convection microwave and oven appliance and a regular oven, as well as a dishwasher in the island.
  4. The range hood is also custom. The levels of the tan/gray granite countertop over which it hangs were customized for the homeowners.
